1:1 Body Literacy Sessions

Understand your body. Reduce fear. Move with confidence.

If you’ve been noticing more tension, persistent aches, or confusing body sensations, you’re not alone. Many people reach a point where the strategies that used to work for their body no longer do.


These personalized sessions combine hands-on bodywork, somatic movement, and pain science education to help you better understand what your body is communicating so you can move forward with greater confidence and trust in your body.

What is body literacy?

 Body literacy is the ability to understand the signals your body is sending and respond to them with curiosity rather than fear.


Many people experience pain, tension, or uncomfortable sensations that leave them feeling confused or disconnected from their body. When we begin to understand why these sensations occur and how the nervous system responds to stress and movement, the body often becomes a much less intimidating place to live.


These sessions create space to slow down, explore your body’s patterns, and develop tools that support your wellbeing long after the session ends.

What a session may include:

 Each session is personalized to what your body needs that day. We may explore a combination of: 

  • Pain and nervous system education
  • Hands-on bodywork to bring awareness to areas of tension
  • Somatic movement and gentle yoga practices
  • Breath and nervous system regulation practices
  • Strategies for navigating stress, activity, and flare-ups 


 Many sessions begin with conversation and hands-on exploration, followed by movement practices that help the body integrate what we discover together and build your home practices.

Single Session

$200


60–75 minute personalized session including:

  • Exploration of current symptoms, concerns, and what you have been experiencing 
  • Pain and nervous system education
  • Somatic movement and gentle yoga practices
  • Hands-on bodywork (in-person sessions)
  • Personalized strategies to support your body between sessions


Payment due at time of service. 

Sessions are HSA/FSA eligible.

A supportive container for those who want to go deeper.


Working together across multiple sessions allows us to:

  • Explore and release patterns of tension and protection in the body
  • Integrate new movement and nervous system strategies
  • Develop practical tools that support long-term wellbeing
  • Problem solve challenges that arise in daily life in more depth
